Funny Cereal Commercial Video

A not so typical cereal advertisement like this one would not be catchier other than being shown as a funny commercial video. Since when did you actually hear for the last time the word “nigga?” I believe these days such a term is no longer being used that frequently due to its very degrading nature. Unlike in the early times of the American history, when Black slavery was still very common together with the presence of a clear distinction between the Blacks and Whites, nowadays people are discouraged from using this term to describe a Black American. It is really a big insult if you will be called nigga.

In this funny television commercial video about cereals, it highlights conversations that provoke anger by mentioning nigga. It is because the cereal’s brand name is actually Nigga Please. During the first scene between the husband and the wife taking their breakfast, the husband asked his wife, “Honey, what’s for breakfast this morning?” In response, the wife plainly said, “Nigga Please” making her husband slightly ill-tempered. And so, noticing this sudden unfavorable change in her husband, she showed the cereal box immediately, which showed its brand – Nigga Please. It is really funny seeing the surprised look of the husband staring at the box.

The same incident happened to the next cereal encounter with the popular comedian Chris Rock wherein he was outraged by the waiter’s response. Again, it was very hilarious seeing the waiter defend his side by showing the veteran comedian the Nigga Please box. So the next time you buy this cereal at the grocery store, just be bold enough to ask, “Nigga Please, please!”
