Funny Baptism Video: Want A Dive?

Baptisms are sacred ceremonies that bring about joy and often call out for a celebration; however, I never imagine there could be such a funny baptism video out there. Some people may mock this video as being sickening but others don’t. I will try to be as non-biased as possible in presenting this video. Still, it should be noted that this is a funny video, mostly attributed to the unexpected dive scene.

One response said, “I don’t see how someone could see this as sickening…. Yes it is a “sacred” ceremony… but don’t forget the true meaning behind baptism. The boy is publicly accepting God, he is joyful, and he has a sense of humor and so does God. And I know God is as happy as this kid is.” If you are happy about being reborn or becoming a new Christian, then he has a reason to have fun. Go ahead and be merry.

On the contrary, others exclaimed badly about this “funny baptism video.” They said, “This is so sad. This is just wrong. I can understand why the minister did what he did, but I see absolutely no Christian behavior here, no desire to be sacred, and no respect. The boy’s behavior was only slightly more shameful than the congregation’s. There is something wrong with that church.” Maybe this user made such a comment because it is really outrageous that everyone started to laugh aloud in such a place.

For me, it doesn’t matter what other people think. The most important is what you yourself think. If you did something, then you are answerable to your own acts, being a kid gives you some exemption especially regarding not understanding most of the norms, practices and proper decorum. Again, I just want everyone to watch this and enjoy. This made me laugh and I hope the same goes for you.
